
Dynamic Product Ads (DPA) are a native Facebook ad unit which allows Dealer.com to showcase your inventory images dynamically on Facebook’s newsfeed for both mobile and desktop in a carousel style format. These ads can be utilized to retarget users dynamically (VDP viewers), generically (overall site visitors), or even prospect out contextually using a variety of Facebook’s targeting parameters. Dealer.com will soon allow you to target audiences using AutoTrader/KBB data, too.
It starts with an inventory feed to Facebook, and a Facebook pixel integration into your SmartSite. Facebook tracks users via their Facebook ID, which allows them to serve relevant, targeted ads across devices. For example, users who originally viewed a VDP on a desktop device can later see an impression on a mobile device or tablet.

When people log into Facebook, they will see your ads in their Newsfeed. The ad units display in “carousel” style, and will show several different vehicles, plus a slide that shows the store’s branding. When consumers clicks on any of the links, they will land on the corresponding Vehicle Details Page for that particular vehicle.
